There are many other ways volunteers provide useful services and support to Sunrise Haven, including:
Reading to patients.
Providing live music.
Helping to maintain our gardens.
Young people are very welcome and appreciated at Sunrise Haven. If you or someone you know is completing community service requirements for school or just wants to be helpful, please contact our Executive Director.
Board of Trustees
The Sunrise Haven Board of Trustees is composed of Christian Scientists who volunteer their time and bring a wide range of business and professional expertise to the governance of the organization. Board terms are three years with the option to serve for two additional terms.
Prayer Support Team
Join us in praying for Sunrise Haven! Every month, we share a spiritual idea that the Sunrise Haven staff and Trustees are cherishing. You’ll receive these when you’re signed up for our email newsletter.
Sunrise Haven Representatives
Branch churches often appoint a representative from their membership to share information about Sunrise Haven’s purpose, services and activities at church business meetings and in newsletters. This work supports the Sunrise Haven Board of Trustees by ensuring that church members:
Understand the place of Christian Science nursing within the Christian Science movement.
Are familiar with the services available at Sunrise Haven.
Are aware of practical ways they can support Sunrise Haven.

First and Second Readers
Sunrise Haven holds church services on Sundays and Wednesdays (following the same format as branch church services) for our patients, guests and staff. We welcome Christian Scientists to serve as Readers for both services.
