Happy and Oriented to Their Surroundings

A patient arrived from the hospital very weak, unable to sit on their own, disoriented, unable to hear anything, and not accepting of food. Within a week they were eating normally and walking on their own with supervision, but were agitated and disoriented, especially later in the day. They kept asking to watch TV but were unable to follow or enjoy the program. We had to write them notes for all communication. Over the next few weeks of working and praying with them, they were able to hear and understand when we spoke with them, were happy and oriented to their surroundings, and enjoyed reading, doing their nails, visiting with the Christian Science nurses, playing games, watching television, and studying on their own.
